… In most cases you do not need planning permission for domestic solar panel installation, as they are considered ‘permitted development’, unless:
- The proposed installation is on a listed building
- The proposed installation is within a conservation area, or area of outstanding natural beauty. Panels are permitted within a conservation area so long as they are not being installed on a wall or roof that fronts a highway.
- The proposed installation does not project more than 200mm from the mounting surface.

… Absolutely!
PV solar panels only need sunlight not bright sunshine to start producing electricity. This means that your investment will work all year round and offer you great savings whatever the weather!
… Solar panels require very little maintenance. The glass used is self-cleaning, and the angle they are fitted at means that the rainwater washes off most dirt that accumulates. We would recommend an annual clean of your panels, and most window cleaners offer this service.
... All of our favourite solar PV systems come with great monitoring apps, so you can see what you are generating, and how you are using it. Over time this historical data allows you to see where you can make changes to maximise how much of your free electricity you use, and reduce the amount you have to buy in from the grid.
You can see what you generate, what you use, what you store (with battery storage), and what you sell back via the SEG.
... All of our installations are unique, so timescales can vary.
Most of our residential installations are completed within 3-5 days. Larger, and commercial installations will usually take a little longer. As can particularly complex installs.
We always aim to minimise any disruption in your home or workplace whilst we are completing your installation. We will arrange for any scaffolding to be erected a day or two prior to us arriving, and to be removed as soon as possible once we have commissioned it.

All product warranties transfer to you upon commissioning.
On top of that, all of our solar PV installations come with our own 5 year workmanship guarantee, and are covered by a 5 year HIES insurance backed guarantee.
